Over 50 scholars from around the world are gathering again for the Currere Exchange Retreat and Conference at the Marcum Center at Miami University on the Curriculum Studies concept of Currere, made popular and important in the 1970s by Bill Pinar, and used extensively today in the curriculum studies field. The meeting is an opportunity for graduate students, teachers, school administrators, community activists, professors, and citizens who are interested in curriculum and cultural studies to affirm, connect, and fresh their personal, scholarly, and social action agendas. The meeting, supported financially by EDL and EHS, has created a new journal, The Currere Exchange Journal, which is available to read at www.currereexchange.com.
Walk-ins for the conference are welcome; the registration fee for the three day meeting is $125. For more information contact Don Murray at email@example.com
