The Great War at 100

This blog features writings and projects by the twelve Miami University students who took part in the 2015 Winter Term workshop, the Great War at 100.  Students spent a few days at Miami’s Luxembourg campus before going on a study tour to Verdun, France, Reims, France, the Somme region in France, and Ypres, Belgium.  Each student has completed a paper about the Great War using one of the assigned texts, Poilu, the notebooks of the French barrel maker, Louis Barthas.  The students all completed a final project that reflects on what they have learned over the course of our workshop.
